Drain Wardens Help Prevent Contaminants From Entering The Waterway Whilst Still Allowing Water To Flow Through. It Will Effectively Remove Coarse Sediments, Litter And Debris From Run Off. The Unique Design Of The Drain Warden Uses A Polypropylene Non Woven Geotextile Fabric As A Filter Medium To Provide Stormwater Inlet Protection. Any Particulate Greater Than The Pore Size Of The Fabric Will Be Trapped By The Geotextile Fabric. Ideal For Use In Car Parks, Delivery Docks, Service Areas And Industrial Plants. Installation Is Very Simple With The Unit Sitting Beneath The Drain Grate And Hanging Into The Pit Below. The Apron Can Be Cut To Size. There Are Tabs To Attach It To The Grate The Drain Warden Has Overflow Pockets To Facilitate Large Volume Flows (Ie. Rain Events). This Product Is Not Intended To Capture Silt And Sediment On A Construction Site.
